... Hi there! We’re Clarisse and Max, a couple from France and we are selling our Nissan Vanette petrol from 1989 (225 000km) fully equipped with camping stuff. In 4 months we travelled all around New Zealand with it and we never had major problems, we even drove on very bad roads but it was fine! :-) Anyway the Vanette got some brand new items like a: - Left front lamp - Battery - Clutch - Windscreen wipers - Left back tyre - Oil filter - And a great radio CD, MP3, USB key, SD Card etc….! We passed the WOF with success and the garage just fixed a wheel bearing and a leakage on the exhaust pipe, I still have all the invoices and papers! WOF is good until the 03/11/2014 and Registration until 15/10/2014 The van if fitted out with a bed on the back and you can still put alllll your stuff below, here is a list of what we let you with it: - 1 mattress for 2 people - 1 great duvet - 3 blankets - 1 sleeping bag - 2 pillows - 2 big plastic boxes (to arrange clothes or whatever) - 1 cool box - 1 tent - 2 small mattresses for the tent - 2 cookers - 2 camping chairs - 1 torch + batteries - 1 Lonely Planet (2010) - 2 South Island atlas/maps - 1 brand new radio FUSION like I said above - 1 washing powder - 1 battery cables (we changed it now so you’ll be fine but it can be useful) - 1 Tarpaulin And a lot of dishes: - 4 plates - 2 cups - 2 bowls - Forks/knifes/spoons - 2 pans - 2 sauce pans… I have nothing special to add just that this van is perfect to travel when you’re 2 people or a couple like us, we even travelled with 1 shortboard and my longboard above our heads and we still had enough room ! ... I would like to sell my car, a toyota lucida estima luxury edition, a petrol and automatic car with 235* kms which has been my partner all over new zealand. The wof is valid until the 16/01/2016 and the regu is valid until 27/01/2016. I bought the car from a backpacker couple who bought it from a kiwi-family. I changed 2 tyres, the 2 front shock absorbers and a piece of the radiator. I also changed the oil with the filter and some lights. I have all the papers to prove it. I kept all engine liquids topped up at all times. The engine coolant is actual coolant and not just water. The van is fully arranged with a bed and a kitchen. You can drive legally with 4 people inside as there is still 2 seats at the back and 2 people can sleep easily in the bed. You can convert from the living room to the living room quite easily. I did it with my sister and my parents and even if it needs organisation it works! My dad who is 183cm tall had no problem to sleep in the van. We did it two times in May and in November, 2 people sleeping in the van, 2 people in the tent which is included in the price! The tent is a 3000m waterproof for 2 people and weight 2.7kg. Hoops of the tent are a bit damaged but still ok. I have also 2 small tarps to put on the floor for the tent, a picknicking sheet and a kind of blanket that we use as a mattress when we slept in the tent. To sleep inside, besides the mattress, 1 sheet, 1 blanket, 2 sleeping bags, 4 pillows and a special sleeping bag to sleep during winter (-5°C) are included! The van has a backwards-camera, two roof-windows, air con and two tinted/mirrored rear windows. For winter in the south also, I have a pair of chains (only use them 2 times) a fishing rod and hooks/lure etc. is also included, ready for fishing! kitchen equipment: - stove and gas bottles - pans and pots - cutlery, cups, plates - plenty of storage boxes . Other stuff: - water tank (20 liter) - storage box with table - curtains with pegs, - umbrella - cassette to audio jack (plug in your mobile phone to listen to your music) - lonely planet - maps of new zealand and good advices :-) if you have any questions or want to have a look/drive just send me a message or call me.
